GodswordRhope was created during a very painful circumstance in my life. A situation that totally confirmed the reality, that nothing in this world can provide the comfort and stability that God and His Word brings to us. As humans it can be so much easier when in crisis or need to turn to others, and really community and connection with one another was God’s creation. But what happens is that people become more important than God in our life. We were created to live our lives dependent on God.

I see people going through very challenging trials in their life. So many struggling with pain, heartache, failure and regrets, others with physical ailments or financial situations. We are living in difficult times. So what are we to do? Are we to trust in ourselves? Are we to trust that others have the answers? Do we trust money will get us through the tough days ahead? Do we trust our job will be our support? Is our trust found in our possessions? If so what happens when these things begin to crumble?

There is only ONE thing we can bank on in this world, and that is in the living God. The God who calls us by name. Yes, Jesus knows you by name. The Savior of the world is not distant or aloof sitting back watching the world spin out of control. Christ is wholeheartedly engaged in lives. God is intimately acquainted with His children. He cares about the needs and burdens we carry. My prayer is that GodswordRhope can be an encouragement and a reminder that God and His Word are ENOUGH!

I am learning through my disappointments and mistakes, that God’s Amazing grace is sufficient for anything in our life. And while the enemy of our soul would love for us to believe that our best days are behind us. The TRUTH is our best days are ahead. God’s Word is saturated with evidence of the purpose, destiny, and future that God has for His children. A life yielded to the powerful imprint of the living God will experience His supernatural work in them. And God does…Exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us. – Ephesians 3:20
